Riaan Cruywagen is making his return to television.
A post on the kykNET Facebook page reveals that the legendary news anchor will be joining the channel's breakfast show Dagbreek as a presenter from Monday, 4 February.
Cruywagen will join a team of presenters including Dalen Lance, Elma Smit, Bettie Kemp and Harold Richter on Dagbreek, which airs every Monday to Friday from 5.30am to 7.30am.
The news comes just a few short months after Cruywagen stepped down from his role as an evening news anchor on SABC2 – a position that he had held for 37 years.
