Amber Riley has hinted that she will not return as a regular on hit series Glee.
The 26-year-old actress – whose character in the show, Mercedes Jones, will graduate at the end of this season – has tweeted that she will "miss the whole Glee family" but is now looking forward to a "deserved summer vacation".
She wrote on Twitter: "That's a wrap on Amber Riley! Just closed a chapter in my life, the only thing I've known day in and day out for three years. I'm going to miss the whole Glee family, seeing them everyday! I have so many brothers and sisters now :) But I am looking forward to a much needed and deserved summer vacation! SCHOOL'S OUT Glee Kids! Let's play! (sic)"
However, Riley does not believe that all is lost for her character in the show, which has had recurring guest stars including Gwyenth Paltrow and John Stamos, and has told her followers to "Stay tuned to see what's next for Mercedes ;) (sic)"
