Former Mark Salling best known for his character as Noah Pucker in the tv series character, has died.
According to media reports the 35-year-old actor was found dead near his home yesterday in a riverbed in Los Angeles.
Salling was part of the Fox musical dramedy Glee from 2009 until 2015.
In December 2015 he was arrested for being in possession of child pornography.
Salling pleaded guilty and struck a plea deal in October, where it was agreed they would ask a judge to sentence him to between four and seven years behind bars.
The actor faced up to 20 years with a maximum sentence - was expected to be sentenced in March this year after prosecutors found more than 50,000 child porn images in his possession.
Salling’s family release a statement saying: "I can confirm that Mark Salling passed away early this morning. Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment. He is survived by his mother and father, and his brother. The Salling family appreciates the support they have been receiving and asks for their privacy to be respected."
