Katy Perry is reportedly set to receive a hefty fee for the American Idol reboot.
The Chained to the Rhythm singer was selected as one of the judges for the reboot, which will see the once popular music competition return to TV screens.
According to TMZ, citing multiple sources, Perry is reportedly going to get paid a whopping $25 million.
Sources revealed to the site that Perry's hefty pay is due to TV network, ABC, wanting to have at least one judge signed on before the television upfronts which took place last week.
"Katy had all the leverage," one source revealed to TMZ regarding the singer's hefty paycheck.
The source continued: "If ABC ended up announcing the show without a judge, they'd be screwed."
