Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse will face no further action after being filmed apparently inhaling from a crack cocaine pipe, police and her spokesperson said on Wednesday.
Winehouse was arrested earlier this month before being released on bail over a video obtained by The Sun newspaper which seemed to show her taking drugs, including cocaine and ecstasy, in her flat.
London's Metropolitan Police confirmed prosecutors had decided to take no further action against the star, who won three Grammy Awards for the single 'Rehab' in 2008, after her spokesman announced the move.
"Amy is pleased to be able to move on and concentrate on music and particularly looks forward to seeing her fans again at eagerly-awaited festival performances this summer," the spokesperson added.
Winehouse (24) has fought a very public battle with substance abuse and self-harm.
Last month, she was arrested and spent a night in police cells after slapping a man during a night out in London. She was cautioned by police and apologised.
Her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil (25) is in prison awaiting trial on charges of assault and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
