Justin Bieber and his superstar girlfriend Selena Gomez are still very much in love.

The couple – both 19 – squashed rumours of a split after being spotted looking smitten with each other on a recent romantic lunch date at a Californian restaurant.

"They are like regulars and are always really friendly. When they came in for lunch, they looked more in love than ever," according to a Hollwoodlife.com source.

"Justin was holding Selena's hand on the table. 

"They split an order of the vegetable tempura and Hibachi steak. They had green tea ice cream for dessert."

"Justin once again left a very generous tip. He left almost the same amount as the entire bill."

Later in the day things went badly wrong after Bieber got into a scuffle with a paparazzo who tried to take pictures of him and Gomez. The paparazzo later accused the Baby singer of assault.
