Jennifer Aniston and Jennifer Connelly have had a falling out over a magazine cover, reports claim.

The actresses appear together in the forthcoming 'He's Just Not That Into You' alongside the likes of Ben Affleck and Drew Barrymore but the former 'Friends' star wanted to prevent Connelly from appearing on the cover of Marie Claire magazine.

But Aniston's spokesperson has dismissed the reports as "absolutely absurd".

"There is no drama whatsoever," the rep added

"Marie Claire wanted Jennifer alone. It was our idea to make it a group cover.

"The magazine only wanted to put three of [the film's actresses] on the cover, and definitely wanted Drew Barrymore.

"We recommended [other co-star] Ginnifer Goodwin because she is basically the lead role in the film...

"Jennifer got along great with Jennifer Connelly."
