Kate Beckinsale hates her bottom so much she's demanded a body double to handle a nude scene.

The petite 'Click' actress refused to bare her bottom for the filming of a shower scene in her new film 'Whiteout'. The move forced produced to hire a stand-in model at a rate of $2000 a day.

"The script called for her character to be filmed nude in a shower, focusing in on her bottom and thighs," a source explained to the Mail on Sunday newspaper.

"Kate insisted on a double being hired. She was quite open on the set about not liking her body and said she particularly loathed her bottom and was not comfortable baring it."

34-year-old Beckinsale is best known for her role in the 'Underworld' vampire films which feature her in a tight leather outfit.
