James McAvoy let Angelina Jolie "take control" during their on-screen kissing.

The 'Atonement' actor and the 'Mr and Mrs Smith' actress appear together in the forthcoming 'Wanted'.

Although the Scotsman was nervous about getting so intimate with the Hollywood superstar, Jolie took charge of the situation, allowing him to relax.

"I was nervous but after five minutes I thought this is going to be all right, it's cool," said the 'Last King of Scotland' actor.

"She was in very good shape."

Jolie, who is currently pregnant with twins, is no stranger to on-screen kisses.

"It could be anybody when you're kissing someone on film, you have to make it look good. She's pretty much in control of the situation," explained McAvoy.
