The husband of British Grammy award-winning singer Amy Winehouse faces a jail sentence after admitting attacking a pub landlord and perverting the course of justice, authorities revealed on Monday.

Blake Fielder-Civil (26) admitted attacking the 36-year-old landlord of a pub in the trendy district of Hoxton in east London in June 2006.

Three other men also admitted perverting the course of justice during a week of pre-trial legal argument at Snaresbrook Crown Court, where Winehouse frequently attended hearings to support her husband.

Fielder-Civil will remain in jail until he is sentenced.

The pub landlord, James King, has pleaded not guilty to perverting the course of justice and will go on trial Tuesday.

Winehouse herself was interviewed by police about the case, but no further action was taken against her.

The soul singer won five Grammys in February for her 'Back to Black' album and the single 'Rehab'.
