After the disappointment of 'Elizabethtown' Cameron Crowe is to return with a romantic comedy adventure starring Ben Stiller and Reese Witherspoon.
Crowe, who also wrote the screenplay and will produce the as-yet untitled project, is best known for the films 'Jerry Maguire' and 'Almost Famous'.
The project will begin filming in January when Witherspoon and Stiller both have an opening in their schedules.
Stiller, who will next be seen in 'Tropic Thunder', is currently filming 'Night at the Museum 2: Escape From the Smithsonian'. Witherspoon, meanwhile, is busy with 'Four Christmases' with Vince Vaughn and is doing voice work on the animated 'Monsters vs. Aliens'.
Crowe, who won an Oscar for his 'Almost Famous' screenplay and received five nominations for 'Jerry Maguire', has been quiet since 'Elizabethtown' failed critically and commercially in 2005.
