US action film star Vin Diesel and his girlfriend, model Paloma Jimenez, are new parents of a baby girl, People magazine reports in its online edition.

The girl was born on 2 April but her birth was just announced, the magazine said.

Diesel (40) has starred in films such as the 'Fast and Furious' series, and 'XXX'.
