Victoria Beckham has denied that she's only friends with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes to boost her acting career.

Since the former Posh Spice and her husband David Beckham moved to Los Angeles in July last year, she has become good friends with the famous acting couple.

At the same time she has appeared in several roles on TV — most prominently was her guest appearance on comedy 'Ugly Betty', which has sparked suggestions that the ex Spice Girl is hoping to pursue acting.

But Beckham, who is also firm friends with actress Kate Beckinsale, claims she has no interest in launching a Hollywood career, because of her limited performance skills.

"I'm happy doing what I'm doing right now. I'm a terrible actress," she said, adding that she was focused on working in fashion and had rejected several acting parts.

"Everyone thinks I'm only friends with Tom and Katie to be in a movie but it's not true. I've turned down lots of roles."
