Coldplay won Best British Group and Best British Album for their release, ?Rush of Blood to the Head?, while a pregnant Ms Dynamite was named Best British Female Solo Artist and Best British Urban Act, according to news agencies.
Coldplay?s Chris Martin commented: ?We are all going to die when George Bush gets his way ? but it?s great to go out with a bang.?
Ms Dynamite also performed an anti-war song set to George Michael?s 'Faith' at the ceremony, said AFP. "We've been here before / talk of violence and talk of war / I don't wanna see children die no more / So I've gotta make a stand," she sang.
Meanwhile, Robbie Williams was named Best British Male Solo Artist for the fourth time, marking his ninth Brit Award since leaving Take That. He used the occasion to send out a jokey appeal for a new love in his life, reported Ananova.com.
He said: "29-year-old Aquarian, slightly chubby, chain-smoking, seeks boy or girl for fun nights of poker and AA meetings."
Norah Jones was named Best International Breakthrough Artist and Red Hot Chili Peppers were named Best International Group.
Rapper Eminem was not disappointed either, taking home two awards: one for Best International Male Solo Artist, and the other for Best International Album, for ?The Eminem Show?.
Tom Jones received a lifetime achievement award for his ?outstanding contribution to music?.
