Minki van der Westhuizen and her husband, Constant Visser, are getting divorced.

This is according to her publicist, Andrew Farr, who said on Monday that the couple had only "recently" decided to divorce.

"It is very friendly. But they don't want to talk about it," Farr told Die Burger. Minki married businessman Visser in Stellenbosch in October 2007.

The restaurant The Library in Stellenbosch, which Van der Westhuizen and Visser began together, closed down earlier this year.

Farr said Van der Westhuizen did not want to comment on the planned divorce proceedings.
