David Hasselhoff is teaming up with Patricia Lewis to help her record what could be the last two songs of her career.
Lewis will be going in for surgery to remove non-cancerous tumors on her thyroid.
The operation could damage the singer’s vocal chords.
She is spending Friday in a Johannesburg recording studio working on songs with Hasselhoff, who has flown out specially from America.
Lewis and the Hoff will also be performing in Johannesburg at Montecasino on Friday.
"It's a free show to the public, from me, to say thank you for all the love and support.
"I'm hoping it won’t be last show ever but if the operation doesn’t go well then it will be my very last show and David will be on stage with me," said Lewis on Thursday.
