Crime Investigator Sherlock Holmes is being portrayed as gay in a new movie.
'Tropical Thunder' actor Robert Downey Jr, plays the role of Sherlock Holmes which is based on the character by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. He will spend lots of time wrestling and sharing a bed with his friend Dr Watson, in the Guy Ritchie directed film.
Quoted in the News Of The World, the Downey Jr said: “We’re two men who happen to be room-mates, wrestle a lot and share a bed. It’s badass.”
'Alfie' star Jude Law, who plays the role of Dr Watson, added: “Guy wanted to make this about the relationship between Watson and Holmes. They’re both mean and complicated.”
'Sherlock Holmes' also stars Rachel McAdams, Kelly Reilly and Mark Strong.
