British actor Hugh Grant, his ex-girlfriend and her husband accepted damages on Thursday at London's High Court over photographs which invaded their privacy while they were on holiday in the Maldives.
Grant, star of films like 'Four Weddings And A Funeral' and 'Notting Hill', was with former partner Elizabeth Hurley and her husband, Indian businessman Arun Nayar, at a private resort when the shots were taken last year.
Two picture agencies, Big Pictures (UK) Ltd and Eliot Press SARL, will pay #58 000 (?73 000, $113 000) damages over the covertly-taken shots.
They will pay with help from Associated Newspapers and News Group Newspapers, which own The Mail on Sunday and News of the World newspapers which published the shots.
The Mail on Sunday printed four photographs under the headline "Hugh's that gooseberry?", while the News of the World's article was headlined: "Liz does the blokey-cokey".
Neither Grant, Hurley nor Nayar was in court.
