Tragedy for Travolta
Article By:
Actor John Travolta's son Jett Travolta died on Friday morning at the tender age of 16.
Jett was on a family vacation with his famous parents John and Kelly Preston and eight-year-old sister Ella Blue in the Bahamas at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel when he met his untimely end.
According to the Travolta's lawyer Michael Ossi, Jett died of a seizure-related incident after attempts to resuscitate him failed.
Ossi told ABCNews.com: "A nanny attempted to revive him, all attempts were made, but he couldn't be revived. They tried as hard as they could to revive Jett."
The lawyer, who is in the Bahamas with the family added that Jett had previously suffered from seizures, which they were able to control.
In previous years, rumours surfaced that Jett had a form of autism, which John vehemently denied, saying Jett in fact suffered from a rare disease known as Kawasaki Syndrome, a condition that causes many
complications — including seizures — as a result of inflamed arteries.
