Daniel Craig will never play a superhero.
The 'Quantum of Solace' actor was rumoured to be playing the title character in a movie adaptation of comic book 'Thor', but insists he has no plans to accept the role.
Asked whether there was any truth to the report, Craig replied: "No. It doesn't interest me at all."
The 40-year-old star — who can soon be seen playing one of three Jewish brothers who escapes Nazi-occupied Poland in new drama 'Defiance' — added he is planning to take some time out from making movies.
He revealed: "Taking a holiday. All I want to do is take a holiday at the moment."
Craig recently revealed he likes being an actor because he can don different costumes and take on new personas.
He said: "You get into acting for the chase. It's dressing up and showing off. Let's be honest about it, at its basic level."
