Guy Ritchie has accused Madonna of turning their divorce battle into a war zone.

The director was furious after pictures emerged showing their eight-year-old son Rocco in the team shirt of Madonna's new lover baseball star Alex Rodriguez.

An insider told The Sunday Mirror: "Guy left Madonna a furious message after he saw the photos of Rocco in the Yankees shirt telling her she'd stooped too low.

"Apparently, he said he will not tolerate his son being manipulated by her in the same way she manipulates everyone else.

"They're not actually talking… so he left her the message saying he was just not prepared to sit back and be made a fool of.

"Guy was incandescent about the Rocco pictures. It was so obviously a ploy to wind him up — and it worked a treat. He tries to give them a semblance of a normal life.

"Guy despises the fact that they have become part of what he calls the 'Madonna circus'.

"For Madonna to rub his nose in it about her relationship with Rodriguez just sent his anger off the Richter scale. Guy had simply had enough."
