Britney Spears' steamy scenes in her new music video for single 'Womanizer' are fake.
The sizzling scenes with male model Brandon Stoughton are not completely real as neither of them are totally naked. The singer wore flesh coloured panties and latex "patties" to cover her private areas.
An insider told The Daily Star: "She was terribly nervous about shooting the scenes and not a bit like the Britney of old who flashed everything in public."
Stoughton (27) also donned a pair of light-tan underwear to cover himself up for the shoot. Both Spears and Stoughton wore the tiny costumes two days later when the shoot resumed at the Downey Studios in Los Angeles.
The lines made by the costumes were then digitally removed, making it seem as if the singer is completely naked.
The insider said: "When she said she was too nervous to strip off and bare all, everyone respected her wishes.
"And Stoughton was such a gentleman he even kept his man-panties on when he used an open shower to clean up, just in case she walked past."
The video has been on non-stop rotation on MTV and an executive said: "They certainly had us fooled. Britney looks like she's totally naked."
Spears' new album 'Circus' is due out on 1 December, and the first single 'Womanizer' has already hit the No.1 on the US charts.
