Britney Spears' mother, Lynne, is set to make a film about her daughter’s life.
Based on her tell-all book, 'Through The Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World', the film will chronicle Britney's sordid past, including her history of underage sex, drugs and drinking, her broken marriage to Kevin Federline and her mental breakdown earlier this year.
Rumours are rife that 'Scary Movie' actress Anna Faris will take the lead role and that Lynne (53) expects to be portrayed by 40-year-old screen siren Julia Roberts.
With Britney planning a come-back world tour and promoting the release of her latest album, 'Circus', friends say she feels her mother is using her as a commodity.
The Daily Star reported that Britney told a friend: "She will do anything to get herself more famous and make money off my name. It's just unreal. If I could cut her out of my life completely, I would."
Though Britney's spokesperson said she was unaware of her mother’s filmic endeavours, Lynne is forging on with her plans.
Her friend told the Daily Star: "She's pitching the book around to studios. She even says she wants Julia Roberts to play her. It's insane!
"She and Britney have been estranged since 2006, when Brit split from Federline and thought Lynne took his side.
"Now Britney is telling friends: 'That woman doesn't even seem like my mother any more'."
