Guy Ritchie and his wife Madonna want to make a children's film.
The 'RocknRolla' director — famed for his violent gangster movies — and Madonna wrote a script for a family movie a long time ago, and the couple still haven't given up hope of seeing it brought to life on the big screen.
Richie said: "Honestly, I can't remember its name. It keeps changing. But I will certainly end up making a kids' movie at some point. If you have kids, you end up watching lots of kids' movies and you often find some of their movies are infinitely more sophisticated than adult ones. 'The Incredibles' was smart filmmaking and 'Ratatouille' was excellent."
Madonna and Richie have two sons together, seven-year-old Rocco and David (2), while Madonna also has an 11-year-old daughter, Lourdes, from a previous relationship.
The 39-year-old filmmaker is keen to shoot a child-friendly movie because they hold a wider appeal.
Guy explained: "They are
films for everybody, and that is what good films should be. We are all philosophers. It is impossible to live and not be a philosopher. Life is philosophy."
