Jennifer Aniston has reportedly been dumped by her rocker lover, John Mayer.

The 39-year-old actress, who began dating the singer a few months ago, is said to be single again after Mayer allegedly felt Aniston's expectations of him in terms of commitment were too high.

The couple were spotted together earlier this summer in London, where John is performing at a series of gigs with his band and rumours were rife that a wedding was on the cards.

However, the tension between the pair over the 'Friends' star's demands — including her request for a timetable for their future and a promise that Mayer will tour less if they have children — took its toll, resulting in the break up.

This is yet another blow for Aniston, who has proved to be unlucky in love following her divorce from Brad Pitt. To rub salt in her wounds, her former husband is currently celebrating the birth of twins with his partner Angeline Jolie.
