No expenses spared on new Baby Kardashian who arrived via surrogate at a private hospital in Los Angeles yesterday, as Kim spent more than £400 000 on her.
The third addition to the Kardashian-West clan, who weighed a healthy 7lbs 6oz, is a sibling for the couple’s daughter North, four, and two-year-old son Saint.
Kim took to social media to announce the arrival of her new daughter on her website in a post which read: “She’s here. We’re so in love.”
No picture of the newborn has been released yet, but it has been reported Kim and Kanye have turned down offers amounting to £3.6million for a first glimpse of the baby saying it’s against their “morals”.
Kim’s 106 million Instagram followers had to wait two months to catch a glimpse of North and Saint when they arrived.
The safety and security of their baby is a top priority and therefore the couple says they will release pictures in their own time.
Kim decided to have the child through surrogacy as she was warned by doctors not to risk any more pregnancies due to a life-threatening condition called preeclampsia.
The excited mother is said to have spent more than £400,000 on luxury baby items and decorating the child’s nursery. This is a drop in the ocean to Kim, who is said to be worth £126.9million.
Other reports claim she bought a Swarovski-encrusted £99,000 rocking horse, a £65,000 solid gold dummy and a Louis Vuitton teddy bear worth £6500.
Baby K will don designer wear as Kim is said to have stocked her wardrobe with a reported £72,000 worth of clothing from designers like Dolce & Gabbana.
Like her siblings, Baby K will get few freebies too as North and Saint were gifted with clothes and shoes by Kim and Kanye’s designer friends.
