Singer Lily Allen is at work on a memoir in which she'll take readers through her tumultuous life of rebellion, addiction, loss and motherhood, among other things.
According to her UK publisher, Allen will tell her story with "searing honesty," beginning with her family story and covering her early years of rebellion, her experiences at Glastonbury and the members-only Groucho Club in London, and the highs and lows of fame.
The book will also cover Allen's well publicized experience with miscarriage and the trauma and grief that followed.
Subjects will include "making money, spending money, co-dependency, drug & alcohol dependency and eating disorders, marriage, separation, recovery, motherhood and moving forward with her life," according to her publisher.
Allen said in a statement that some of the material might be "uncomfortable and shocking and brutal. There will be good stuff in there too; happy times. I will try and make it funny."
The book is set to release in fall 2018.
