Has South African poet Ntsiki Mazwai met her match in EFF leader Julius Malema?
According to TshisaLIVE, Mazwai kicked off the battle saying that the EFF is not Malema.
"If the eff is Julius Malema then I will pass on eff…..stru. I believe in the movement not in individuals…plus I can already see he isn’t BC," Mazwai opinionated in a Tweet.
Malema responded in kind, dubbing the outspoken celebrity as a "failed poet"
The EFF leader tweeted: "I don't need an endorsement of any failed poet to succeed, politics is my game & I know it. At least I'm good at what I'm doing unlike you".
He continued: "Tweeting about Juju all the time & not about your work or profession, as if Julius is your job description. I don't need you or ur friends."
Mazwai then left Malema with a fiery warning: "Lol is it now juju? You want us to go there? You sure?".
Mazwai posted a screenshot message exchange from Malema who praised her performance at an EFF concert earlier this year.
"But why dm [direct message] me about my performance and explaining yourself if I'm so wack? Gtfoh," Mazwai wrote.

Malema responded with a series of tweets, claiming that the same message was to distributed to every artist who performed at the event. The politician also referred to Mazwai as a "wanna be".
"I never thought showing respect to an artist will mean your life depends on them, the DM was send to all artists on that day by the way."
"I don't need you or your poetry to succeed, that's all I'm saying. Our life depends on EFF members and supporters not supporters wanna be."
"EFF women will be led by a woman of their choice not self-imposed failed poet, we have capable women with proper emotional intelligence."
"Fighters, we must know our friends and not be part of the pretentious moles."
