Sean Connery has warned his son, Jason, that he won't inherent a cent of his £85-million fortune, hoping his son will adopt a work ethic that will allow him to follow in his own career path.

The Scottish actor, who was knighted in 2000 for his contribution to film, rose from humble beginnings in Edinburgh's industrial sector where he worked as a barrow pusher for less than a pound a day.

It is not surprising then that the Oscar-winning actor wants his son to have the same appreciation for success that he has — however this has caused, in the past, a great rift between the two

According to Connery's ex-wife, Diane Cliento, the former MI6 agent once accused his son Jason, who works as an actor and film director, of cashing in on his father's famous name. According to Cliento, one explosive brawl ended with Sean saying: "You only got this (acting) job because your name’s Connery!" to which Jason replied: "Well I'll change it to something else." Sean spat: "If you do that I'll f*****g kill you."

"Jason loves him but Sean has a problem about relationships, as everybody round him knows. Jason is a very devoted son — when Sean is sick he rushes there. They play golf together," Cliento added.

Connery is due to release his much-anticipated autobiography, 'Being A Scot' sometime next month.
