Kelsey Grammer is being sued.
The 'Frasier' actor — who suffered a mild heart attack while paddle-boarding with his wife Camille in May — is accused of failing to pay California kitchen installation company The Last Detail $148 135.52 for work they carried out.
The Last Detail — who filed the lawsuit in the Los Angeles County Superior Court last week — claim they were forced to install Grammer's kitchen three times because the actor and his wife kept changing their minds about aspects of the room and expanding their scope of work.
The company says although Grammer commissioned them to complete the work, he never paid them.
They also claim the couple continued to promise they would be paid, and also allege they were told payment would be received when Grammer was in a "good mood".
A spokesperson for Grammer and his wife was unavailable for comment.
The actor shot to fame with his role as Dr. Frasier Crane in hit US TV show 'Cheers' and spin-off 'Frasier'. He has since starred in sitcom 'Back To You' alongside 'Everybody Loves Raymond' star Patricia Heaton.
