Here at iafrica.com, we're trying to give a helping hand to our local artists by providing a space for emerging stars.

It doesn't matter whether you're channelling 50 Cent, rocking out like aKING or a little more Susan Boyle than Britney Spears, we want to hear from you!

Sounds great, but what do I need to do?

Not very much, actually.

You need to provide us with your name/stage name/band name, as well as a short (no more than 200 words) description of your act. What kind of music do you play? How long have you been playing for? When were you formed? Be creative ? but keep it clean. You obviously will want people there when you play your next gig, so let us know where you are playing (venue and city), when you will be performing (day of the week and date) and what time your show will be starting. Is there a cover charge? Will there be other bands playing? We need all the details before we can consider your gig for publication.
