Popular Afro-fusion group Coda will be performing a free concert for their fans at Wembley Square on Friday, the 18 September.
Featuring Verity and The Shades, and a 2010 Diski Dance demonstration, this event must not be missed!
Coda's Afro-fusion sound is classy, refreshing and uplifting and is a rich blend of warm vocals, electric strings, saxophone, hypnotizing beats and a few other surprises, all brought together with a distinctly South African flavour.
Their song 'Blow Your Vuvuzela' is fast becoming Cape Town?s unofficial anthem to the 2010 World Cup.
Patrons will be given a Diski Dance demonstration by Coda's dancers to ensure that they are in perfect step for next year?s celebrations.
One of the city?s most in-demand bands, Coda has entertained some of the country's most prominent celebrities, business people and politicians.
Their music is receiving extensive airplay on radio stations across SA.
Coda was a finalist alongside FreshlyGround in the Best of Cape Town Awards 2008 and voted one of SA's top five bands in the 2006 Top Billing Lifestyle Awards.
