Some of South Africa's top acts will be rocking out at RAMfest - Big Day Out in Pretoria.

After the success of the full weekend of RAM Festival in Cape Town, the guys behind the concept are taking the festival on tour, visiting each major city in South Africa for one day only.

The tour kicks off at the Tuks Rag Farm (Tuks Jool Plaas) on September 12, and further performances are planned for Durban, Jo'burg, Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein.

For now, you can catch Fokofpolisiekar, Zebra & Giraffe and aKING along with Die Heuwels Fantasties, Die Antwoord, Ashtry Electric, Kidofdoom, Isochronous, Desmond & the Tutu's, Yesterday's Pupil, Wrestlerish and Thieve.

Your event pass will also give you free access the the RAMFest afterparty.

Bands and fans from Cape Town will be able to take the train to Jo'burg to attend the Big Day Out.

There will also be food stalls and arts and crafts — and not just only boerie rolls and hamburgers! Entrepreneurs can contact Dominique at dom@griet.co.za to apply for a stall on the day.

Tickets are R100 pre-sold and R120 at the gate. Tickets are available at www.tunegum.co.za.

Please note that you may not bring your own alcohol.
