Evita Bezuidenhout rolls out her red carpet for the Swartland at a gala benefit at Allesverloren Saturday 29th August, 6:30 for 7pm
This sparkling event on Saturday 29th August at 7pm will be hosted by The Most Famous White Woman in South Africa, Evita Bezuidenhout.
It is in aid of The Darling Trust and has been organised by the Round Table 262 from Malmesbury, in association with Allesverloren and DIVA PR.
This will be a spectacular affair with Evita holding court at one of South Africa's finest wine estates in the heart of the Swartland Wine of Origin District.
Aside from being able to enjoy Tannie Evita's sparkling personality and biting wit, other attractions will include an auction, wonderful prizes and perhaps the greatest highlight, a personal photo opportunity with the great lady herself!
Mrs Evita Bezuidenhout is Darling's most celebrated resident, and she has pledged to raise enough money to help her community there make their dreams come true.
The Darling Trust was founded by Pieter-Dirk Uys in August 2003, and is a charitable trust that assists the people of Darling by empowering individuals to help themselves, mainly through participation in the sectors of education, skills development and health.
The Darling Trust implements well-planned projects that are supported by the community and effectively implemented. Their current initiatives include, the Elsie Balt Art School, music lessons for children, Senior Citizen outreach programmes, the Darling Parenting Programme, AHA-Read Project, Early Literacy Project, the Community Garden, transport for disabled children and for those living with HIV/AIDS, enabling them access to the nearest ARV clinic.
