This year Witchfest aim to create the most well-rounded alternative festival in its six year history. Cue a new venue and a full bill topped by reformed legendary death metallers Carcass.
Just outside Mooiriver in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands is the Southern Cross Farm where the action plays out from Thursday 25 September to Sunday 28 September 2008.
Apart from Carcass (featuring Jeff Walker, Bil Steer, Mike Amott and Daniel Erlandson), the bill includes fellow UK band Seasons of Six and top local alternatives like Chromium, Rhutz, Fragmented Children, Fokofpolisiekar, Fire Through The Window, Taxi Violence, Van Coke Cartel, Hokum, Martin Rocka & The Sick Shop, AK Massive, aKING, Knave, Deitys Muse, Sheep Down, Torment, Agro, Erebus, The Warinsane, All Forlorn, Warthane, Theatre Runs Red, Bile Of Man, Arise To Conquer, Chemically Sharpened, Ing, Contrast The Water, Sacrifist, Architecture Of Aggression, and Bloodline Ltd.
