It was the first radio single from her third hit album, 'Saved by the Moonlight' and also a fitting title for a new Louise Carver show, touring through Barnyard Theatres nationwide this September. Louise Carver hits the road this September with 'Home - A Tribute to South African Song', accompanied by a unique acoustic band which will be presenting Carver's hits as well as some of the most iconic South African songs of the last three decades.

Over the last few years Carver has developed a reputation for good songwriting which has remained essentially style agnostic. She has made rock albums, ventured into hard house with the likes of international DJ Kenny Hawkes, played the queen of pop on second album 'Silent Scream', and created 'Saved by the Moonlight' as an ode to musical timelessness.

In the 'Home' show she explores the songs of other great South African songwriters, reinterpreting these iconic hits through her unique voice and from her own perspective. So expect new takes on songs like 'Spirit of the Great Heart' by Johnny Clegg, 'Too Late for Mama' by Brenda Fassie and 'Weeping' by Bright Blue.

General admission is from R100, doors open at 6.30pm.
