Lady Gaga seems set to perform in South Africa.
Speculation reached fever pitch on social networks on 15 June after Big Concerts announced on their Facebook page: "Big Announcement - and we mean REALLY BIG. Unveiled Monday 18 June."
The accompanying teaser image replicates the font used in advertisements for the Poker Face singer's Born This Way Ball world tour.
Based on the singer's tour schedule she is most likely to perform in South Africa during July or August 2012. There is currently a month-long break between her 8 July show in Perth Australia and the next gig, in Sofia Bulgaria on 14 August.
Neither Big Concerts nor Gaga's record company, Universal Music, have commented on the speculation.
