The Wanted have revealed that they are keen to work with Chris Brown

The British boy band — made up of Max George, Nathan Sykes, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Tom Parker — are huge fans of the Turn Up the Music star and would love to collaborate with him in the future.

Speaking at the Billboard Music Awards, McGuiness said: "I know Chris Brown in is the dressing room next to us, so we can see him again. We have not put a song forward or heard anything yet, but as soon as we do, obviously [we'll] shout it from the rooftops, because it would be a great opportunity."

Sykes also revealed that they would be eager to work with fellow boy band One Direction — who, like The Wanted, have been a huge success in the past 18 months — on a charity record.

While the two bands are often cast as rivals, Sykes insisted that they would be happy to work together.

He said: "I think it's very expected from the media always trying to put two bands together and trying to start a rivalry. We have no issue with them whatsoever. They are great lads who've stayed true to their sound so far in their career.

"I think the collaboration between the two bands could generate a lot of cash maybe and we would actually be willing to do it for charity,"

The Wanted are currently working hard on their next album, which McGuiness says will contain some surprises.

He told MTV: "Well, you know, it's going to be a new leaf for us because we've compiled all our three years of stuff into the EP, so now it's a new, fresh start for us. The singles we started writing and recording, so far, we're excited about. But it's still gonna be parties for the Wanted. I think it's gonna be a few surprises too."
