Haven't heard 'You're Beautiful' enough? Now's your chance to see James Blunt performing it — and his other hits — live when he plays three shows in South Africa this May.
Performances will take place at The Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg on 24 May, the Botanic Gardens in Durban on 26 May, and finally The Grand Arena at Grand West Casino & Entertainment World in Cape Town on 28 May 2008.
In the three years since James Blunt released his debut album, 'Back to Bedlam' it has sold 11 million worldwide, going No. 1 in 18 countries and cracking the top 10 in 35. Locally, the album is certified triple Platinum.
The album also saw Blunt nominated for five Grammys, landing the first No. 1 single in the United States, 'You’re Beautiful', by a British act since Elton John’s 'Candle in the Wind' and winning two MTV Awards and two Brit Awards. He has also won two World Music Awards, two Ivor Novello Awards, and two MTV Video Music Awards, amongst others.
His new album, 'All the Lost Souls', which features the hit single '1973', and 'Same Mistake', was released late last year, and has already reached Platinum status in SA.
Tickets go on sale on Thursday, 24 January and are available from Computicket on 083 915 8000, or log onto www.computicket.com.
