Freshlyground are celebrating 10 years since they first burst onto the scene.
The band will be taking their sound on the road from 28 October to 9 December 2011 for an old-school nationwide tour.
Dubbed The Freshlyground 10 Year Birthday Love No Hate Tour, the 29-date showcase will see the band taking their award-winning songs from large cities to small towns, in celebration of their 10 year anniversary and very own 'Love No Hate' campaign.
The tour will visit cities, towns and townships stretching from the coast all the way to Sun City, including remote parts of South Africa that are often deprived of entertainment of this stature.
They have specifically chosen smaller theatre environments in order to create a sense of intimacy.
The seven-member group will also be staging six free concerts in township venues across South Africa.
Since releasing their first studio album, JikaJika, in 2003, Freshlyground have won an MTV Europe Award and eight South African Music Awards.
