Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger has become upset by a pickle having more fans than his band.

The 'How You Remind Me' singer was upset by a group on Facebook called 'Can This Pickle get more fans than Nickleback' (sic), after it claimed to have beaten the band by getting more fans than the group on the site.

The group's founder Coral Ann celebrated on Friday when they reached over 1.4 million fans, beating Nickelback's Facebook fanbase of 1.3 million.

However, on Sunday Chad got in contact with Coral Ann to demand the pickle group be taken down.

In a private message he wrote: "Your page will be closing in two weeks."

Coral replied: "I still whooped your ass Chad! (sic)"

Chad wrote back: "Ha! 30 million albums Coral!"

Coral replied again: "Ha! 1 468 690 fans and counting, Chad! Your ass is still whooped!"

The group is currently up to almost 1.5-million fans, with many people posting messages of support for the pickle and Coral. It is not known if Nickelback will pursue legal action to get the group taken down.
