K'Naan and top local stars will perform at the Long Street Festival in Cape Town on Friday.

The festival is part of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final Draw taking place on the same day at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).

The festival, which starts at midday with free entrance, will also see the likes of Freshlyground, TKZee, Jimmy Dludlu and Cassette perform.

Long Street's Festival Line-up:
  • 12pm - 1.20pm: Cultural Performers
  • 1.30pm: Alistair Izobell & Band
  • 1.55pm: Alistair Izobell sings 'Welcome to Cape Town', joined by Zakumi to welcome FIFA representatives to launch the Fan Fest project.
  • 2.20pm - 4.15pm: Cultural performers (four acts to perform for approximately 20 minutes each)
  • 4:20pm: Fancy Galada
  • 4.45pm: TBC
