Internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter, Farryl Purkiss, has cracked the nod from Hollywood.

'Sticks and Stones', a track from Purkiss' eponymous debut album, has been selected to feature on popular ABC television series, 'Private Practice'.

Private Practice, a spin-off TV series of the mega-popular Grey’s Anatomy, follows the life of Doctor Addison Montgomery (played by Kate Walsh) as she leaves Seattle Grace Hospital to join a private practice in Los Angeles. The TV series is currently the 25th most popular TV series in the USA with approximately 9.94 million viewers in that country alone.

'Stick and Stones' featured in the fifth episode of season three entitled 'Strange Bedfellows' which aired on October 29th 2009 in the USA. This episode will air on South African television in the latter part of 2010 on M-Net.
