Former Guns N' Roses rocker Slash has signed a new solo record deal, leaving some Velvet Revolver fans to believe that his current band will never play together again.
According to Starpulse, "Slash is expecting to recruit Ozzy Osbourne, M. Shadows, Fergie and Cypress Hill to collaborate with him on the as-yet-untitled album, which will be released through Roadrunner Records in the spring of 2010.
"Slash and Velvet Revolver have been on the search for a new frontman after firing rocker Scott Weiland from their line-up last year. They have been inactive ever since."
But fans of the guitarist won't have to wait too long until they hear new music as the first track, 'Sahara', is released next week.
"It features guest vocals from Japanese singer B'Z and will be accompanied by a new version of Guns N' Roses' 'Paradise City' with vocals from Fergie and Cypress Hill," the publication wrote.
