Chris Brown is going on tour.

The singer's label announced plans for a Fan Appreciation Tour to thank the people who have stood by him during his arrest and guilty plea, reports E!

Brown recently tweeted that his "first show back" would be on 27 October 2009 at Power 105's Powerhouse show in New Jersey.

His month-long tour starts on 14 November 2009 at the House of Blues in Houston and will take in 19 cities across the USA, including Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston.

According to tour organisers small theatres have been chosen to encourage a "fans only" atmosphere.

A portion of profits from the tour will go to Best Buddies International, which provides friendship, employment and leadership opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and to Los Angeles' Jenesse Center, a nonprofit organisation which supports victims of domestic violence.

Brown has been busy doing community labour in Virginia and recently unveiled his first single since February called 'I Can Transform Ya'.
