Lady Gaga is set to tour without Kanye West.
The singer has announced she'll be touring alone after her joint 'Fame Kills' tour with the rapper was cancelled last week.
"We mutually decided to cancel the tour. He's going to take some time off, but I'm not," said Gaga in an interview before accepting the 'Rising Star' honour at Billboard's annual Women in Music event.
"Kanye and I talked about it. We talked about it a lot, as well as with Live Nation," she said.
Gaga and West's tour was meant to kick off on 10 November 2009 in Phoenix but Live Nation announced it was cancelled without giving an explanation.
West has received negative publicity since he crashed Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards last month.
Gaga says she doesn't approve of what West did but she stands by him "because everyone makes mistakes and it is important to forgive one another".
"He's a good person," she said.
Gaga's new tour will kick off in November and her platinum-selling debut album, 'The Fame', will be also be re-released then.
Got something to say?
