R&B superstar R. Kelly, of 'I Believe I Can Fly' and court case fame, is headed to South Africa this June.

The singer, on his first visit to Africa plays the Superbowl in Sun City on Saturday 27 June and hits Grand West Casino in Cape Town on Monday 29 June.

"I'm very excited about my first visit to Africa, I've dreamed about this for a long time and it's finally here," the singer revealed.

It will be one of the highlights of not only my career but my life. I can’t wait to perform in front of my fans in Africa – who have been some of the best in the world."

The artist, who will be backed by his live band and dancers, promises 90 minutes of pure chart topping hits including 'Ignition' and 'Step in the Name of Love'.
