The Indie Kings of Cape Town, widely known for their uncompromising, good solid brand of rock 'n roll, are back in studio to record their much anticipated second full length album, 'The Turn'.

Taxi Violence, famed for their independent-or-die attitude and energetic live performances released their acclaimed debut album, 'Untie Yourself', in 2006. This album received rave reviews from media nationwide which earned them a huge and loyal following.

Their new album is due for release in August this year.

"Our current sound can be described as epic, sleazy blues infused rock. It is melodic and unconventionally catchy with positive yet dark undertones. They tell stories of betrayal, addiction, parting ways; perseverance and new beginnings," says George van der Spuy, vocalist for the band.

Fans can tune in daily to their Facebook page to check in on the band's progress.

A rockumentary trailing the band in studio and in their daily doings-and-happenings is currently being filmed by Smokin Gun Productions. This will accompany the release of the new album.
