After months of speculation, legendary '60s band, The Kinks, can finally confirm that a reunion is definitely on the cards.
The band's frontman Ray Davies has revealed that his brother and lead guitarist, Dave's health has much improved since he suffered a stroke while promoting his solo album in 2004.
With nothing now standing in their way, Ray, Dave, Mick Avory and Pete Quaife — who are the only 'British Invasion' band whose original members are all still alive — are set to start recording in the very near future.
Speaking on a reunion Ray said: "Dave seems very chipper and on good form. He's moving well and has made good progress. My thought is we'll do it but we also have to do some new material — even if it's just two or three songs. I want to hear what music we can make at this point."
