Kylie Minogue scores 2/5

Depending on your feelings toward dance remixes of pop songs, this album will either be (house) music to your ears, or a numbing string of sound-alike tracks that seem to be joined together to fill a CD.

The disc opens with the 'Can’t Get Blue Monday Out Of My Head' remix of Minogue’s giant 2001 smash hit 'Can’t Get You Out Of My Head' — a mashup of her song with New Order’s hit 'Blue Monday' that has always made my ears bleed with its offensive blandness (but is inexplicably popular with many Kylie, and dance, fans).

From there it’s an up and down rollercoaster ride of mixes, including some good (the campy 'Your Disco Needs You' is even more over-the-top in its 'Casino Mix' guise on this disc), not-so-good (the Knuckleheadz Mix of 'In Your Eyes') and some just awful (Mark Brown’s remix of '2 Hearts', a song so boring in its first guise you can’t imagine a remix that actually worsens it — but this one succeeds against the odds).

Unless you’re a rabid Kylie fan, or love all things commercial dance music, avoid this one.
